Our programs are taking steps to ensure our families, customers, and staff stay safe while still providing services when and where possible. Each Agency program will follow guidelines as dictated by local, state, and federal officials.

Has the COVID-19 Pandemic affected your life?
Are you past due on your mortgage, rent, or utilities?
If you have been financially affected by COVID-19 and need assistance, The Community Action Agency of Columbiana County, Inc. may be able to help. CAACC can provide assistance to those who need help with mortgage or rent payments and/or utility expenses.
Columbiana County residents may be eligible for assistance if they have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 and meet program income guidelines.

Community Services
The Community Services building is closed to the public. All interviews and appointments for HEAP, PIPP, etc. will be done by telephone.
Clients may mail in forms or use the drop box for forms. If you must visit the office, clients may use the newly installed intercom system to speak with staff.
Health Centers
Your experience at our care sites may look a little different. Our fight continues against COVID-19, and every decision we make will put safety first, even at the expense of efficiency or convenience.
All patients and visitors are required to wear masks.
Walk-in appointments are not being accepted.
Covid-19 Vaccinations
We are distributing COVID-19 vaccines to the community by appointment only. This includes individuals outside of Columbiana County and Ohio. Availability is limited by the number of doses we receive.

Transportation
As of March 23rd until further notice…
- CARTS Public fares will be Free until further notice.
- Service will end at 6:00 pm county-wide Monday through Friday.
- The Make the Connection Shuttle will only run from 9:00 am through 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, with a final pick up at Walmart at 3:45 pm.
- The Make the Connection Shuttle will not be operating on Saturdays.
Healthier Food Pantry
Columbiana County Healthier Community Food Pantry is closed to the public. Distribution will consist of prepared boxes and bags for pick-up.

Wed. and Fri.: Noon – 4 p.m.

Early Childhood Development
Our classrooms follow the school systems where they are located under the direction of state and local health authorities. Stand alone center policies may vary. All of our sites adhere to strict healthy and safety protocols that meet or exceed federal, state, and local guidelines.
