This program allows for a one-time payment on the electric utility for eligible households at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. The assistance must result in a continuation of electric service for at least 30 days. The applicant may also be eligible to receive an air conditioner and/or up to 2 fans, or repair service for a central air system. This program runs from July 1st through September 30th.
This program provides financial assistance to low-income households at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines that are threatened with disconnection, have had services disconnected, need to establish new or transfer service, have less than 25 percent of bulk fuel in their tank, or have a household member that has been diagnosed with COVID-19. It runs from November 2 through March 31.
