HOMELESS PREVENTION
The Community Action Agency of Columbiana County, Inc. is a HUD approved housing counseling agency. Through our Homeless Prevention Programs, we strive to combat the epidemic of homelessness in Columbiana County and help individuals get back into permanent housing. Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)
This program provides intensive case management, referrals, and temporary financial assistance to veteran households at or below 50 percent of the area median income who are facing a housing crisis. It is available to qualified residents in Columbiana, Jefferson, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Mahoning Counties. SSVF Flyer
Emergency Homeless Shelter
Our 11-bed shelter provides emergency housing and intensive case management to individuals and families facing homelessness.
Homeless Prevention
We provide case management and financial assistance (security deposit, rent, moving costs, etc.) for residents of Columbiana County who are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness. Assistance is available to households below 30 percent of the area median income.
YOUTH and YOUNG ADULT HOMELESS SERVICES
These programs are available to assist Youth and Young adults up to the age of 24 that are facing a housing crisis. Services include Case Management services, transitional housing, supportive services, rapid rehousing. Youth and Young Adult Homeless Services Flyer
